Champagne Agrapart - Venus - Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Brut Nature 2014
This rare pearl is vinified only in demi-muids without new oak and only about ten per year. This non-dosed Grand Cru has spent, after its bottling in May 2015, nearly 5 years to age in the cellars of the House.
On the nose, the floral notes are explosive, accompanied by powdered almonds and ultra-delicious fresh hazelnuts. The bubble is of a beautiful finesse, to lead to a mouth with a mineral and energetic structure, slightly spicy. The finish is lively, fresh and complex in a decidedly saline register.

About The Winery
Founded in 1894, Champagne Agrapart has become one of the finest grower estates in the Cote des Blancs. The current owner, Pascal Agrapart, has been making wines there since 1984. The 12 hectares of vines that make up the estate lie largely in the Grand Cru villages of Avize, Cramant, Oiry, and Oger. Pascal Agrapart works according to natural rhythms and sensibilities, without any chemical pesticides or herbicides. He always ferments his wines with indigenous yeasts, which he feels is crucial to the expression of terroir, and a portion of the wines are aged in old, 600-liter oak casks. The organic life of the soil assures the health and productivity of the vineyard.
