Domaine Robert Groffier, Gevrey-Chambertin Les Seuvrees 2014
The 2014 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Seuvrées sees 25% new oak and includes the same percentage of whole bunch fruit. The palate is more controlled, nicely balanced with crisp blackberry and raspberry fruit. The whole bunch fruit works well here, lending freshness and tension towards the edgy finish.

About The Winery
Extends over four generations now, the Domaine Robert Groffier is widely considered as one of the finest winemakers in the Côte d’Or region of Burgundy. With just over five hectares of top-quality vineyards, including the highly coveted Grands Crus Bonnes-Mares and Chambertin-Clos de Bèze, Groffier boasts excellent terroir which produces some of the region’s best wines. The time and effort Serge Groffier gives to the vineyards is paying back handsomely and correspondingly low yields have produced sought-after wines of real pedigree and class.
