Domaine Jean Tardy et Fils, Nuits-Saint-Georges Vieilles Vignes Bas De Combe 2012
The 2012 Nuits-St-Georges Aux Bas de Combe Vielle Vignes comes from a 0.45 ha parcel of beautiful 65-year-old vines. It has one of the more intense bouquets for this vintage with plush blueberry and dark cherry scents. The palate is very smooth and silky with well-integrated new oak, and still manages to represent its classic terroir.
